Links Some links to selected websites. We can't guarantee that all the links are up to date! Clubs North East Folk Directory A good place to start for folk clubs in the region and other folk information BUT the site is currently under reconstruction. Folk Roundabout The local folk listings magazine has been relaunched online in 2023. We welcome the revival of this valuable source of information. Performers The Young'uns (Dave Eagle, Sean Cooney & Michael Hughes) We're proud of the rise to fame of these guys from their early days at our club. Some of the early, zany podcasts on their site included recordings made in the Sun and showcased several of the club regulars. Find out more about their relationship with the Club in their book "Bound Together". Dance Locos in Motion are a mixed (male & female) border morris side. We have to mention them because at the last count 6 members of the Club have played for or danced with them. Dave Turner is one of our regular MCs and he plays the concertina. However, his main calling is as a caller at ceilidhs. His site includes instructions for some of the dances he has written. General Denis Dunning , now a regular at the club, is a professional photographer specialising in folk events. His site has lots of excellent images of performers at Stockton, guests and regulars alike. BUT again the site is under reconstruction. The Yorkshire Garland Group has the aim to make Yorkshire's folk-song tradition generally available for free (as far as copyright and technology allow). The new website has over 80 songs so far, as audio files and in print, plus links to other song sources.
