Paul Anderson & Shona Donaldson - a rare chance
on Teesside to hear some of the best of Scottish traditional music
and song. Paul is a world-renowned fiddle player who, in a tradition
that stretches back to Neil Gow, is also an acclaimed composer, adding
to that tradition. Shona is an award-winning singer who especially
enjoys the Doric songs of her native Aberdeenshire. She is a former
winner of the MG Alba Scots Singer of the Year and to date the only
woman to win the Bothy Ballads Champion of Champions competition.

Welcome back to Dan
McKinnon from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Dan has a wonderful
baritone voice and some exceedingly fine self-penned songs which have
evoked comparisons with Stan Rogers. He’s also one of the most
engaging and genuine performers on the scene. |
