22nd July New Roots: Arthur Coates is a young fiddle and guitar player from Insch in Aberdeenshire who has been very busy as a member of several bands, most recently "Tolquhon". A new solo album also demonstrates his vocal talents. He's accompanied on this visit by Kerran Cotterwell on guitar. The New Roots competition has provided us with some great young performers in the past - remember Iona Fyfe and Kirsty Bromley, for example. Come and hear how young Folk is thriving.
29th July Geoff Higginbottom An old favourite with a powerful voice, Geoff serves up a great mix of songs with lots of choruses and with great good humour. You can see and hear him online on YouTube and Reverbnation.
